Chiropractors are specialists that assess and treat the spine and other joints through chiropractic adjustments. Adjustments help re-establish proper joint biomechanics, thus reducing pain and restoring their function.

Dr. Corey is a progressive chiropractor who started utilizing shockwave therapy, laser therapy, and spinal decompression before these modalities became popular. He always tries to look for new techniques and technologies that may benefit his patients.

At Vancouver Back Institute we have a particular interest in sports injuries. We want to get patients back into sports because we know how people find happiness and passion with the sport they play.

We also have a particular interest in patients involved in Motor Vehicle Accidents (MVA) because we see how motor vehicle accidents (big or small) change lives. People are not able to do the things they normally want to do, have difficulties with functioning in their daily lives (activities of daily living), get sad and depressed, and have poor sleep, poor memory, low energy, etc. Getting patients out of that pain is very satisfying for us.

What types of conditions, pain or areas do you treat?

All muscle and joint injuries involving the spine and extremities as well as nerve pain associated with spinal or extremity pathology.

What approach and techniques do you use?

  • Low Force techniques using adjustment instruments such as CAT and ArthroStim
  • Flexion-Distraction Technique with flexion distraction table
  • Thompson Drop Technique
  • High Force technique: Diversified Chiropractic Technique (DCT)

We use low force and high force techniques depending on the patient’s needs.
